NTU Pride - The Nottingham Trent University LGBT Society


Home		Join NTU Pride this year for £5 to receive your exclusive membership and discount card! Joining the NTU Pride Society entitles you to not only access to all our socials, trips and events but you will also receive a membership card giving you exclusive discounts around the city, including the New Foresters and half price entry Nottingham's only gay club, NG1! These discounts are only available to NTU Pride members and can be used on any night, not just on Pride Soc socials, just show your membership card on entry or at the bar to benefit. NTU Pride also provides a wide range of welfare and support services from online support articles on this website to one-to-one support from our Male and Female Co-ordinators, who are there to support you through your time at Nottingham Trent on any issue you might encounter. We run regular social meets and events, with our own Nottingham Social at the New Foresters at 9pm every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, moving on to NG1 about 11pm. Every 3rd Friday is Magenta, the monthly gay rock night at Bar Sugar, Lacemarket. On these nights, we meet at Pit and Pendulum at 9pm, then head to Magenta at 11pm with £2.50 entry all night with your NTU Pride card. Each 1st Saturday is the ladies only night Pink! by Purple at China China on Chapel Bar. How to Join: You can join NTU Pride at Freshers Fayre on 3rd or 4th October in City or Clifton. Come along to our stall to join, pick up more information about the Society, register for your membership card and meet the committee. Membership is just £5 and gives great ways to save money on nights out on the scene! If you can't make it to Freshers Fayre, just come along to the first meeting and social. The First Meeting: The first NTU Pride social and meeting of the new year is a great way to meet other LGBT students. Meeting on the University Campus (venue to be confirmed) on Wednesday 10th October, we will show you round some of the bars in Nottingham, including the New Foresters and Niche before going to NG1 with free entry and cheap drinks for a night out! Absolutely anyone can join the Society regardless of sexuality, gender identity, race, religion or disability; membership is also open to students at NTU, staff members and affiliated NUS members.
