Scene Guide

 Nottingham has a diverse range of gay clubs, bars and pubs, dedicated gay nights at other clubs in the city, and a number of venues that are gay-friendly or mixed. The map below shows the venues situated in Nottingham's 'gay village' in the Lower Parliament Street area. All the 'gay bars' in Nottingham are straight-friendly and are open to everyone.

Bars and Pubs

New Foresters

A mixed pub/bar with a great a atmosphere indoors and heated outdoor seating/smoking area. It is the oldest gar bar in Nottingham starting in 1950s as a lesbian bar.
Monday-Thursdays there are offers on bottles such as WKD blue, Becks and Baccardi Breezers at £2 each. Free entry.

NTU Pride membership card entitles you to free bar membership (for Ladies and Lads Night), and also drinks offers all week. Show card at the bar.

Thursday: Kareoke from 9pm
Friday and Saturday: Late bar and disco until 3am.
Sundays: Cabaret with Amber & Sapphire and guest stars fortnightly.
Wednesdays: Every 1st Wednesday - Lads Night (male stripper and cabaret)
                    Every 3rd Wednesday - Ladies Night (female stripper and cabaret)

Niche

Close to NG1, Niche has seating areas with leather sofas and a dance floor on one side, with a function room upstairs. Free entry.

The Hole

Nottinghams new man-only bar above Niche. Aimed at the slightly older crowd, this bar boasts to "encourage you to explore your darker side". Not a sex bar.

Nottinghams only totally gay nightclub, containing two dancefloors, four bars, and two large seating areas including Soba; a chillout area with its own seperate music.

Nottinghams new monthly gay alternative night with rock, indie, punk, electro, alternative 80s. Monthly on Friday 9pm until 2am. £3 all night. £2.50 with an NTU Pride card.
