Welfare

One of the main aims of the Society is to provide appropriate support and information to LGBT students at NTU so they are able to get the most out of their university experience and make the right choices.

If you should need advice on any issue that might arise during your time at NTU, whether it be from coming out, to your health, you can find information here on our website, from local organisations that you will find listed here, or directly from other members of the Society.

If you ever need someone to talk to, contact us and we will do everything possible to help. We might be able to put you in touch with the right people within NTU or NTSU, or talk to you about what's troubling you. Talking to someone is one of the best ways to deal with the problems you're facing, and that's what we're here for! You can approach any committee member either at a meeting, or privately. We can help you find the appropriate help from any of a number of organisations and groups around Nottingham, and will help you get to contact them.

We can also help with issues concerning homophobia, discrimination and unfair treatment. As a Society within the Students Union at NTU, we are in a position to help you resolve any issue or problem in the SU, the University, or in your accommodation.
